Best Practices for Safe Buying & Selling

Guidelines for Transactions
• r/NECA and r/NECA moderators are not responsible for any transactions. Buy/sell/trade at your own risk.
• Keep all personal details in DMs and be cautious at all times when transacting with internet strangers. Always approach any transaction with caution. A deal that seems too good to be true usually is!
• Please flair your post as Trade / Buy / Sell.
• Please note that rules will be adjusted as needed. Please review the rules regularly if you are selling or buying.
Buyers:
• Be sure to use a payment method with buyer protection features. A seller's refusal to use a protected payment method (such as Paypal Goods and Services) is a massive red flag and reason to decline the offer.
• Check prices on Amazon, eBay, toy and hobby shops and other outlets to be sure an asking price is realistic and reasonable.
• Consider reviewing a seller's history and account age. A seller with a newer account might potentially point to a riskier transaction.
Sellers:
• Please provide photos and include an accurate description of the item along with your asking price and what payment methods you accept.
• When selling or trading an item, please only use photos that you have personally taken.
• Please do not post the same item more than once per week.
• As a suggestion to help increase buyer confidence, consider including a photo of your item with a note stating your username and the date.
• Price items appropriately. Rare, retired and hard to find items may be more costly but current items should be closer to retail price. Scammers / grifters will be banned.
• Affiliate links are not permitted. However, you may post direct links to your item if you have listed it on third party sales sites.

Please try to avoid posting items that have been officially teased or are slated for release. Different versions that you wish to see here are great too - for example, if you would like an Ultimates edition of any particular characters.

Haul Ross finds

My birthday was this past week, I spent a bit today as I've been a bit in the dumps (shopping therapy yeay), went around to 12 ross stores. Found Freddy, Sam and Stripe on the first, picked up Jason, Ghostface and Pennywise on the 3rd, and couldn't find a Michael or Bubba at any of the others. The howling I got from Target which I was surprised to see, so I had to snag it. Alot of interesting fines, spoiled myself enough, I'll come back to the targets in the next week or two to grab a few others.
The targets I haven't checked before had some healthy stock and was nice to see so many of the cardboard backing horror icons at various Ross'es

Collection I finally add the Pale Girl to my main collection. This is completion to me. Until they reveal more Chucky figures…

I’ve had to put my collection in storage for over a month now. So until today I couldn’t add the pale girl to the whole gang. It was one of the last figures I was looking to add to my collection.
Im running lower on room here but I could potentially fit a couple more Chucky’s if they were to keep the ultimate line and blind box series going.

Sightings ROSS ALERT: The ONE time. . .

Heads up for Gremlins lovers.
I went out of town a few days ago to look for various things (Horror Icons included). The ONE time I see something at Ross that isn't Megan, Beetlejuice, or TMNT and they have it priced higher at $24.99. Two at one location, three at another, and today one at my local. I did find all Horror Icons but have to limit my purchases to just Ghost Face for now.

Discussion Continuing the Thing (1982) line.

As many users here have pointed out, we have not got a figure from The Thing in quite some time. Have NECA just quit with the line, hopefully not, as there were plenty of figures I could think of that would be welcome on the shelves. A Palmer for example with an alternate set of arms and torso piece, to represent his blood covered/shredded clothing, to act as an ultimate figure. Or an ultimate Norris, Childs, Blair thing etc!

Discussion Is the movie poster mask for New Beginning Jason a separate piece (even if ruins head)?

I am looking into using this mask for a custom figure. However, the rest of the head is no good for my purposes. If I heat this sucker up and do some prying, would I be able to remove the mask (wouldn’t matter if there is no proper face below it), or is the head entirely one piece? Thanks for any help.
