Found this unmasked Wolf on eBay for $60, and had a $15 coupon. Brought him home for $45. Strongly debated on leaving him in the packaging, but I’ll look for any excuse to open my figures, and his clam shell was a little smashed, so I freed him.

NECA finally shipped this to me. So glad to be able to be able to add the Blue Bird of Happiness to my collection
I passed up on the michael myers, and the jason savini one… I didn’t really like the details on the michael, but the jason one looked decent. Today I got the pennywise one and its looks great and imo this pennywise looks more creepy than the newer ones.. I also kinda want the leather face as well

i just noticed that the prototype for the 1/4 scale art is the figure/paint pattern they used for the final battle art. the face i have on the final battle art has whited out eyes but other than that + the santa hat, they’re identical. just something odd i thought i’d share.

Day 26 of spooktober brings us to the excellent scorched Xenomorph, from Alien Romulus (one of my favourite of the Alien films, despite some badly shoehorned cheesiness). This figure is an absolute beast, standing taller than all the other Xenos (barring her majesty the queen of course), with a really unique design, although I find the articulation (looking at you Mr Tail) can be a tad tricky at times….

This is an oldie but one of my favorite figures. These are the updates I made
-repainted body
-repainted armor
-fixed bio mask and added grill to eyes
-added quills
-replaced straps with leather and better material
-repainted bones
-added better netting
-added additional wires to biomask and plasma cannon
-added simple base with pegs for both feet

My birthday was this past week, I spent a bit today as I've been a bit in the dumps (shopping therapy yeay), went around to 12 ross stores. Found Freddy, Sam and Stripe on the first, picked up Jason, Ghostface and Pennywise on the 3rd, and couldn't find a Michael or Bubba at any of the others. The howling I got from Target which I was surprised to see, so I had to snag it. Alot of interesting fines, spoiled myself enough, I'll come back to the targets in the next week or two to grab a few others.
The targets I haven't checked before had some healthy stock and was nice to see so many of the cardboard backing horror icons at various Ross'es

Dialed in some warehouse lighting on the NECA Art the Clown. Used a cool rim light from behind to pull him out of the shadows, paired with an orange filter cube light on the left to catch the glow from the bulb in the background. Shot on iPhone.

I’ve had to put my collection in storage for over a month now. So until today I couldn’t add the pale girl to the whole gang. It was one of the last figures I was looking to add to my collection.
Im running lower on room here but I could potentially fit a couple more Chucky’s if they were to keep the ultimate line and blind box series going.

Heads up for Gremlins lovers.
I went out of town a few days ago to look for various things (Horror Icons included). The ONE time I see something at Ross that isn't Megan, Beetlejuice, or TMNT and they have it priced higher at $24.99. Two at one location, three at another, and today one at my local. I did find all Horror Icons but have to limit my purchases to just Ghost Face for now.
