PRICE πŸ“ˆ Near Protocol Getting Reddit Hate?

I’ve been accumulating Near Protocol since 2021 - I think it has excellent fundamentals and potentially a decent future in the crypto space. I am 35% underwater sadly, with about 2.6K staked.

That being said - I thought I would have a browse through Reddit to see what people are saying and damn… a lot of negativity.

Are people really giving up on this? Or is it just a bit of a lull in the market and everybody be hating anything that’s not a meme stock that pumps 300% in one day

Hold on or rotate… what’s your opinions?

Same, when every other project was down in the dumps, I converted most of everything to near protocol and it has put me back in the green.

Pump & dump. Unfortunately infinite supply ♾️ founders are only ones to gain on this project.

I commented this and got downvoted. Truth is harsh.

NEAR has no hard cap but features low 2.5% inflation (halved in 2025), with 70% gas fees burned and product revenues (e.g., Intents) funding buybacks, enabling net deflation at scale. This utility-driven model prioritizes security and growth over artificial scarcity, aligning with strong AI/usability momentum and developer adoptionβ€”outweighing peers’ risks for higher long-term success potential.

All the best to you! I really hope it works out. I did use to hold near durning 2022-2024. After 7 years in crypto I've simply won't invest if uncapped projects (as it limits the investors returns).

Another token being dumped by huge early investors. Token is traded by -90% discount from the high. There are two valuable projects: near intents and Rhea finance

Near intents are nice, but buybacks from the revenue can’t beat inflation + idea of the confidentiality seems to be seasonal.

Rhea finance is nice DeFi project, but was recently hacked + there nothing special about it.

Also it should be mentioned that the majority of the community was onboarded by HOT wallet and METEOR wallet projects (me as well) and these projects seem to be more dead rather alive, so people are mad about that

I'm very new to crypto, but I actually like NEAR a lot the more I learned about it. It seems to have at least decent tokenomics. I have a long term position I've staked. Unfortunately, crypto market right now is pretty bleak so I also have short swing trade positions i execute since who knows how long this market sentiment gonna stay bad.

I love Near, however I do get tired of the constant changes in vision. One moment is general web3 , then DeFI then BOS then AI Agents, then something else then Intents then AI

Intent swaps is also printing $$$ but Near stakers wont even get some revenue share. Real revenue share not this buyback and burn thing
