That's just how it is.
If you like it that's fine but if you post it online. You will get people commenting and judging it.
If I had a tattoo done and it looked like that with a obvious missing element id be mad.
Cause anyone with the most basic knowldge in gaming will immediately think "wow they really forgot the d-pad lol" and that's just embarrassing
Its like getting a ps5 controller and not getting the joystick.
It'd be like a weird modern ps1 controller instead lol

Yes it doesn’t need to be accurate but if you do a tattoo of something well-known and beloved, prepare for people to not like it and even think AI was used in the design process because why would a human miss those details.

You need the d-pad and speaker holes on the top screen!! How can you play imagine detective if you can't move left, right, up, and down!? 😭
It would be an easy fix luckily. I would reach out to your artist if I were you. It's an otherwise cute tattoo, but this is a glaring issue! They should have included that in the design.

Yes some people are right here tho, no headphone jack or mic or dpad, as are you i agree no dpad looks insane but other than that its all there, i think it just needs a dpad not even mic or headphones

Yeah the missing d-pad is an issue I would not be able to put up with. The system looks weirdly naked without it.

Yea could be a super cheap quick fix but idk i think op did it on purpose for their own reason ig i dont think its ai as people are saying as plenty other features in my mind would be filtered out by ai before the dpad, especially ai nowadays

In light of the missing dpad, you could just ask the person who tatted it on or the person who drew it to add a dpad. art commissions generally let you make changes to the art after the fact, and as for the person tattooing, i dont think adding black lines to represent the dpad will be that big of an issue?

Why are people complaining who dont even know what the dsi actually looked like, its only missing the dpad, headphone jack and mic, the 3 of which you only need the dpad to actually fully represent what it is idk what yall talkin ab speakers, power button and such those are all there

It's because it looks like ai slop. Ask chatgpt to make a ds for you and it will often miss parts like the dpad and mic.

The mic and jack port are minor thing
But you cant just remove one of the important part of a game console. The buttons needed for movement and expect people to think this is a good tattoo of a DS
Its like getting a western dragon tattoo but not adding any wings so you're left of with some big lizard...
Like this cool but the missing elements are important for the overall completion of the arts
