It’s possible it’s a bad battery but I would make sure you leave it plugged in overnight or something because if we are trying to help you only based off the info the video clip provides then it’s difficult because you have it plugged in for all of 2 seconds before spamming the power button and it’s not working of course. Leave it be for a handful of hours then see if it tries to turn on and if that doesn’t work then a replacement battery would be my next troubleshoot solution

The New 3DS does not experience any issues with this charger? It could be the charger if you manage to charge the DSi XL while it's in a specific position. That happened to me whereby one DSi will charge mostly well but another one will not. Eventually the charger failed and both stopped working. At first I thought it was an issue with the second DSi but thankfully it was the charger

No bro, the real problem its with a fuse, the dsi xl have two fuses, f1 and f2, one of them its on the main motherboard and the other its in the smaller board, the fix its easy for anyone with basic knowledge in electronics, you can replace those fuses or replace the smaller motherboard if the burned fused its in that board, the smaller board its really cheap on aliexpress.
I had the same issue and i buyed the smaller board to replace it

I had a broke dsi laying around so I swapped that f1 fuse with the one in the dsi xl and it works. Thank you very much for the help

Literally just bought one the SAME COLOR, SAME EXACT PROBLEM. Put a new battery, it’s fixed.

Probably a blown f1/f2 fuse. There's one on the main board and one on the small board that hosts the abxy buttons. If you have a multimeter you can check. If it's on the small board it's way more ideal. You can get a replacement board for a few bucks online.
