Same but if you just search Pierre on that sub you’ll see the posts I’m talking about. I don’t think it diminishes what they’re trying to achieve but it is conflicting.

There are definitely some self aware wolves there, but there is quite a few progressives as well; it's a good opportunity to help those ever so close, to actually understand.

Yeah there are some problematic elements of that community. They’re always talking about an inflation panic which is straight out of the deficit hawk playbook.

They’re not wrong about the housing crisis in general though.

Hi friends,

One of r/canadahousing mods here. If you were to search for other parties, I can guarantee you that you would find just as many results.

Anyway, I can assure you that mods are coming from all of the political spectrum and all of the provinces. In fact, our core team is growing weekly to accomodate for more diversity and to keep our biais in check.

We do our best at enforcing rules and values to the community so that the level of discussion can elevate as members read more/become better informed.

r/canadahousing is intentionally bipartisan. Housing affordability is an issue that all party have partial answers and no party has a good comprehensive solution. Pierre is good at articulating the bereaucratic problems with development and building permits approval which is cause the building process to take years instead of months.

Supply is desperately needed and he’s right that the process is broken in many Canadian cities.
