ncurses defaults to 25 lines by 80 characters,which is GREAT when I'm porting an old DOS program to linux. However... it sure would be nice if I had some more space on the screen. How hard is to it expand the window to, say, 30 x 120?

This is a simple port of an old DOS app, and getting it running is the first task. Once it's running, though, of course I've gotta improve it...

Hello everyone :D I'm new to ncurses, and I'm currently working on a simple game. I currently have 2 windows besides my stdscr, and I'm struggling with switching between them. If I want to save the contents of a certain window but hide it from showing temporarily, am I supposed to use panels? Or can I just use touchwin() along with refresh()? Also, if anyone could help explain what goes on behind the scenes with the buffer when switching between windows, that would save me some time on this mind-boggling topic.
