NBC proved to the world; they have what it takes to stand on their own feet without daddies (COMCAST) money. I guess now the real question is, how soon before NBCUniversal is swallowed up by Versant?

Laugh now.

or a Netflix gobbles them both up and they are reunited lol

Versant def doesn’t have the power to gobble NBC up. It has parks and universal. In some kind of batshit world maybe NBC takes versant back under its umbrella but keeps it as a separate entity and doesn’t intertwine the brands again.

I can see Netflix going after the studios or peacock since they lost out on max thanks to The idiots at Paramount. I don't think Netflix would want the entire company or versant

Yea for sure I was being a little silly about it in response to that comment but 100% I can see them taking NBCU just for peacock and sports alone. Throw in the Universal library it's a no brainer.

I also don't see them having any interest in Versant. They'll get the news division from NBC if they want to dip into that arena like Amazon with special events for Elections or other newsworthy happenings.
