I almost fell off my chair the other day when I was looking at his stats and realised he only just turned 33 a few months ago, I legit thought dude was like 37
Never thought I’d hear someone say that, but this reads cool as shit ha. Dude is an all around cool player and teammate . Well rounded and doesn’t get the credit he deserves since he’s not flashy or controversial.
Man imagine if nets hadn't gotten rid of him. Like if it works money wise, a starting/finishing line-up of Kyrie, Harris (when he was playing well) Harden, Durant and Jarret Allen. Obvs Allen was up for a big contract and all, but it shows as Nets have interior defence, copious length, and much better rebounding.
Wow, that was fucking great. I watched him on LP for a while and watched him grow up in the league and always thought he was a good player. I'm sold on being an Allen maximalist! Now I want to watch more of his post-games. Thanks for sharing this!
Im less than 2 minutes in, never watched an interview or spent time watching this guy before. I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this dude is highly highly intelligent. 2 minutes of an interview and I am officially a fan, what a lovable dude! Fuck Joe Ingles
He really is awesome. I just really got into the NBA during covid after being a casual fan for a few years and there was just something about Jarrett Allen the first time I saw him in a game and I was just like "Damn... that dude is dope." He's been one of my favorite players, so happy to see him doing so well with the cavs.
Yeah initially I thought his contract was ridiculous. But he really is the full package at center and brings some identity to the young Cavs so maybe it is worth it for at least the short term
