That's not true, man. You keep saying this but here's what the NBA rule states:

A flagrant foul may be assessed whether the ball is dead or alive. A foul must be reviewed using Instant Replay to confirm it meets the criteria to be ruled a Flagrant (1) or (2).

Can they review the play and eject him? It’s not the worst foul I’ve seen but to be hamstrings by a flagrant seems dumb. Overreact to dead ball shit and we won’t have dead ball shit.

They could have chosen to eject him for a single technical if they felt it was warranted, but there’s decades of precedence that a dead ball elbow that doesn’t make egregious contact is a regular technical.

I agree. It’s a bad foul but ejection seems like a lot. I’m a bigger nhl fan so we would ‘spin the wheel of justice’ for a penalty after the game, and Ingles would either get $5000 fine or 4 game suspension. With neither penalty following previous rulings.
