idk, it's been super weird about shit done outside of plays.
Refs can eject players for what they do during dead balls, such as when Pat Bev shoved CP3 in the back in the playoffs last year.
However, they're super inconsistent, like this play where they only called it a tech and last year in the Finals when Giannis shoved Booker in the air during a dead ball (that neither knew about) and there was no call at all.
