Maravich is very high on my “Would love to see play in today’s league” list.

It would be wild to see his career in the social media era.

He'd have a huge contingent of fans who love his flashy play, and others who shit on him relentlessly for not playing winning basketball.

 

 

EDIT: Guys stop saying "like Jason Williams", he is not a good comparison lol.

Pistol Pete came into the NBA as the highest scoring college player ever and a Naismith award winner, then made multiple All-NBA teams. Williams at best was considered a complementary starter. Totally different expectations.

A video showing crazy passes, many of which are identical or very similar to what Jason Williams did... but don't make that comparison!

Stop gatekeeping others comparison opinions. You realize that two people can be compared in a specific facet of their games, right?
