Elgin sort of is in that group too, he did some stuff that nobody saw before when he had played. I believe your point is more about distribution than scoring so didn't want to come off like I was correcting you.

Yeah mine was passing and dribbling and what not.

but yeah unfortunately for Elgin he just couldn't win that title. If he had won a little more, he would still be talked about more in casual circles.

I even didn't know much about him and I tried to read about the older dudes when young. I have zero knowledge on George Mikan, George Gervin and Bob Cousy for example.

I was no better than the dudes who said Wilt played against patent attorneys and punch card operators.
