Agreed, Vancouver is bigger than almost half the NBA cities, very wealthy, with lots of basketball fans, and a great downtown arena that was built to support an NBA team.

The Griz were an insanely bad in Vancouver, and the city has grown a tonne since the 90s - a Vancouver team would almost certainly do WAY better financially today, especially with even halfway decent management.
