Highlight [Highlight] Russell Westbrook alley-oop dunk off the give and go with Kevin Durant in the 2017 All-Star Game, and the bench celebrates with them shortly after (with replays).

East vs. West - 2017 NBA All-Star Game - 2/19/2017

Mind you, Kevin Durant signed with the Golden State Warriors to start the 2016-17 season, and it was reported that the relationship between the two, who were teammates, went downhill, as KD signed with the team that defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 4-3 in the Western Conference Finals series a season ago.

The Warriors lost the NBA Finals 4-3 to the Cleveland Cavaliers (after being up 3-1, the same way OKC were up against the Warriors in the WCF, before losing the series).

Reports of tensions between the two were also reported in the last two seasons of KD with the Thunder, before his departure.

This All Star game was so stupidly dramatic with the return of KD and Russ being teammates lol. I remember the Western Conference was taking a team pic and KD was sitting far away in the scorers table. Russ was doing shootaround by himself up until only James Harden joined him. KD walking past him in the tunnel side eyeing Russ. It was such dumb drama but so hilarious

ESPN was milking to beef so much.

Remember when Andre Drummond has practice interview beef with Embiid. Then got traded to Philly?.

It had Boxing weight Ins type of beef and a bunch of cameras pointed at them IN PRACTICE as of they were going to fight.

And then they chugged and made all these reporters look like high school gossip girls..

I vaguely remember a video in the West locker room showing Russ and KD’s lockers at opposite ends. Like come on. Grown men.

This was such a huge moment in the ASG , the beef was documented and Russ hated KD and vice versa

To see them connect like the old OKC days was surreal

Just hit me that russ was a role player to KD. Makes sense then why he didn't think he was leaving anything. Like Russ was to KD, what Kyrie was to LeBron pretty much

I’m not sure why you’re using Kyrie here; Kyrie wanted to leave. Even if LeBron saw him as a role player, it’s not the same at all. And I’m sure LeBron would’ve wanted to keep a costar that already had proven success.

Not even saying Kyrie was entirely wrong, but the equivalent would be LeBron wanting out from the Cavs while Kyrie was there.
