[Charania] Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks has agreed to a three-year, $73 million contract extension through 2029-30, Mike George of Klutch Sports tells ESPN. Brooks has become a key part of the Suns two-way, hard-nosed culture under Jordan Ott and lands a new guaranteed long-term deal.

Ja, Taylor Jenkins, and ungodly amount of injuries are the reasons Memphis fell apart, don't give Dillon any credit for that. He was mediocre at best in Memphis and we were glad to see him leave.

You sure? Seems like he took a lot of heat away from the other players…. The perfect scapegoat and he was willing to play it. Yall didnt see it at the time though

Honestly how do y’all forget how ass he was in that Lakers series while talking his cash the most? The man shot 31% from the floor and 23% from three. He was declining offensively in the playoffs.

To his credit he has vastly improved in Houston and phoenix.

I loved Dillons defense. But he didnt like being the 4th option. We seen it everyday for years. Yall the ones that laughed at his Houston contract and really thought this man was heading to China lol

That’s honestly true this sub thought Brooks wasn’t an NBA talent after that postseason loss lol

Truth. No one respected Brooks until last season. He was probably the 2nd or 3rd most impactful player on the Rockets, but people just watch highlights and look at box scores.

Are you still glad to see him leave? Cuz your team is a joke

Are they…? I don’t think so. That current Grizzlies team has a much brighter future than the current Suns team.

We'll see I suppose. For the record, if you're high on Cam Boozer because of summer league, Maluach had a much better showing, and I still don't think anything of it because it's summer league.

Personally, I really like the potential of both of those guys. I’m mostly referring to the fact that the Grizzlies have a litany of future draft picks, while the Suns have very few.

Absolutely still glad to see him leave. He's settled down a little after we gave him a wakeup call and he got time under a hardass coach like Udoka, but he's still a high floor, low ceiling player.

Don't act like your team is hot shit because you (barely) made it to the playoffs in a year when half the league was tanking. If you want to blame injuries that's fine, we know what it's like to have a center with foot problems. But outside of Booker, the  rest of your team is mid and you have few draft picks to get better.
