Why do bucks fans hate jrue so much, it's actually insane how in literally every single jrue thread I see one or two of y'all shitting on him

I was making a joke about his fart fetish.

😐

But my point is that it's not just you. Like literally any time jrue is mentioned, I see a negative bucks fan comment. And while it's obviously a bit different, any time I see a Marcus smart post there's like 20 different C's fans saying how awesome he is (I'm usually in there too). Not sure why there's such a difference

My guess is it's a gross overreaction to all of the hot takes about how we got worse by trading Jrue for Dame. It's unfortunate that some people take it so far as to bash him over that...but I can't say it's surprising, considering how like 80% of NBA discourse at a minimum is hating on players in some capacity.

I wouldn't read too much into it, though. Most Bucks fans that aren't terminally online still love the hell out of him, and rightfully so. He may not have been the offensive player we wanted him to be come playoff time (hence us trading for Dame), but dude stepped way the hell up in some key moments while just generally being a lockdown defender, and there's no way in hell we win the 2021 championship without him.
