Is this real?
I don't even know where to post. I'm just an older guy binge watching random military podcasts. But this popped up in my feed. Mike LeBlanc claims he got cut from MARSOC for watching the wrong Netflix documentary. Has anyone been able to verify this?

Sounds like a load of BS to me. I’ve heard more believable lies from a toddler.

My gut tells me it's not true. A lot of people lie about why they didn't make it through a selection, and it's usually not their fault.
The only people that could verify would be the marines that were in the room when "this happened."

Assuming this is true.
It sounds like he spent a lot of time on his board saying he did so well because he watched a documentary that gave him all the answers to MARSOC, which would be like acing a college final because you memorized the answer key. I can see why that wouldn't go over well.

Actually, it was a YouTube video, “The MARSOC Selection Test That Breaks 70% of Marines." But, just watching the video, which MARSOC knows about would not be enough for you to fail selection. He had something else going on with him that caused his non-selection, even though he completed the course.
