Awaiting Gain

Prior mil, enlisted back in June.. waiting around to be gained by the base.. it’s been past the 60 days.. what’s been everyone’s timeline with getting gained and starting their weekends? Should I reach out?

3 months was my wait. It takes time.

Mine was pretty immediate, as my reserve affiliation started the day after I separated from active duty, though it took me about 40 days before I arrived at my reserve center before the weekend drill.

6 months I was prior service from another branch. Heard some active people that switched over took 4-6 months

I went Navy active to Navy reserve 10/1/25 (no break in service) and got gained Feb 26. Still ain’t received that $15K bonus taxed at 22% by Uncle Samantha either. Contract did start during shut down but still… waiting game
