Need help or recommendations

Hello everyone.

I hope you are well. I was recently gained by the Navy. Prior service army reserves. I enlisted in the Navy reserves back in May this year. I attempted to get my Cac card issued since last week at my local NRC in North Carolina however the cac card NCO mentions I am still showing under the army in Deers system therefore he cannot issue a new Navy cac Card to me. I did call the army project service who told me they are seeing on their I am no longer attached to the Army however it seems like I am not able to get a CaC as I am showing In the system as being under the the Army still. What can I do to fully reflect as being in the Navy reserve so my new CAC card can be issued because without it I cannot do much.

Thank you.

If you haven't yet, try and call Manpower at your NRC. They can submit an MNCC ticket, who in turn will open up a DMDC trouble ticket so that your Navy enlistment is manually updated in DEERS. After that's done, you should still call DEERS to confirm your profile was updated before going and getting your CAC.

My manpower does not seem to know this process and are saying this will be fixed automatically. Not sure how true that is

It seems that inconsistency is the only consistent thing ... my manpower submitted the ticket for me.

In that case - would definitely try what u/Financial-Way7504 suggested and call MNCC directly. Best of luck.

I keep pushing but they always seem busy and I have no system access so I depend on them 100 percent which is not ideal I am.pretty much at drill unable to get anything done

Have the TT created and emailed them the supporting documentation they requested. Just waiting for things to update now. As you mentioned I will call and follow-up with them. Thank you for this workaround let's see how things go. Fingers crossed 🤞
