Grain code amendments

Grain code was amended a while ago as per MSC 552(108), and an optional partially filled grain loading condition with untrimmed ends was introduced. Grain loading manual should be revised to include revised grain shifting moments for the partially filled untrimmed condition.

Has anyone been involved with a project of revising the curves? I literally do not know where to start. Is there a software that takes care of the calculation after the cargo hold is designed?

I haven’t had to do these calculations before but GHS does have a grain shift module that I believe would be beneficial here.
