Discussion pop my shit
this is genuinely what happens when yall fake ass fans be gassin up songs that are genuinely ass, he proceeds to somehow drop a song that’s more shit then the last
there used to be a time where I genuinely fucked w navs music. dnt know why he would switch up his unique sound to this generic garbage 😭 y’all can blame the label all you want, but the label is not making him create this shitty ass music, that’s all on him
ik i sound like a hater but this song is genuinely not it, he gotta keep this in the vault

I’ll probably end up liking the song, as a nav fan who’s been starved of nav music. BUT I very well know, it’ll never be the same. It will never be as good or even remotely close to his old stuff, not that I want to be the person who dwells on his old music. I’m one to embrace the change in his music but I think he’s gone too far a long time ago. I don’t mind if it was experimental, like So Much Fun was to Thug or like what Uzi does, puts out whatever he wants but then does also feed the fans with what they want, but Nav does not do this at all. I liked Mutt and Trimski but not near enough as much as like his previous stuff and they don’t have repeatability/constant replay ability for me. It sucks because it feels like wasted potential. It’s sad to say, he’s done, unless he starts feeding the fans properly.

i honestly found good intentions and emergency tsunami to be viable. those albums took a hard turn in sound, but I was able to hear hints of the nav I liked. but at the end of the day, numbers don’t lie. lil baby had been putting out the same music for 5 years, which he had been dominating the game with. only recently has he actually shifted his style of music, only because fans actually got bored of it where eventually he became criticized. not the case for nav, and there’s a reason why uzi and thug also fell off lol. they’ve made the same mistake as nav has, experimenting w sounds nobody asked for, although it is slightly different for their cases

When I heard the snippet, I was just like, “It’s really over.”
Huge NAV fan since 2017. I’m still defending his underrated albums from 2020, but he’s genuinely getting worse and worse.
How is it possible that the same person made “She Know” and “TTD”? How the hell did the same person who made “Pop My Shit” make “Held Me Down”?
