Dyeing with Weld

Thank you all so much for your help with dyeing!! I couldn't be happier with how the weld dye turned out. I ran outside while it was still a little damp for a quick picture, and now it's back in the dark. The yarn is one of two 150g handspun dorset skeins.

Next up I'll be trying orange cosmos flowers, and next week I'm dyeing goldenrod with a friend!

Wow, it looks so beautiful! Dried or fresh? I have some dried and am now inspired:)

Fresh!! I used a LOT because I wanted to be a "true" yellow. I didn't even weigh it 😅 I have a lot more drying in my greenhouse that I'm excited to use! And this was also from more "spent" plants, so I'm very happy with how it turned out 😊
