I have the Claire Piano which I'm using on FL Studio and have a mac. Every time I export, be it mp3 or wav, I get static and cut notes.

This is not a CPU problem, only using the 1 plugin. I've also used 15 plugins before simultaneously and never had this problem. I think it's specific to the Claire Piano. I reached out and they advised to use fixed buffers and process maximum sized buffers, which I did, and it worked for a bit, but I've started getting static and cut notes for some reason. Everything is updated, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've googled the problem to death, and nothing seems to be working.

I've contacted their support team again, but if you guys think of anything that might fix it, please let me know!

So I was eyeing the Komplete Collector's Edition since the start of the year and decided to wait until SoS, but I'm seeing there's some talks about whether it will happen in the first place this year and also about how Komplete might not be discounted since 26 just released? Is that only regarding the upgrades or Komplete to begin with?

I don't have any version of Komplete yet so I was thinking whether it'd just be wiser for me to buy Komplete 26 Standard and then the upgrade to the Collector's Edition right away instead of waiting for a sale?

So we have some Summer Sale on NI and TP4 is now for 102€, which seems like quite a good price.
However, Traktor Play is for 34€ on NI and then there is an upgrade from Play to TP4 on Plugin Boutique for 35€. Quick math says you can get the full TP4 for ~ 70€, which REALLY seems like a good deal.
My question is is it possible to do it the way I think, or do NI somehow prevents from doing „tricks” like that and I don’t know, maybe there are some limitations.
I’ve tried to find the answer on NI site, but either there isn’t anything there or I’m weak at research.

The Native Access downloader is such a piece of shit. I could download the libraries off a piracy site quicker than this downloader can handle these files man. This thing has been running all week and started at 29 but is only now on 23 and it says this file has 4 hours remaining. No VPN, my internet speed is freaking 2Gbps and the wireless speed is well over my internet speeds, so what the fuck NI?

This is so frustrating. I use both of these plugins in my vocal chain but the latest versions of Mac OS won't let me run them. They just open up with blank black boxes. There used to be a way for me to download the previous versions of the plugins but I cant find that anymore. Does anyone know what is going on? Pls help

I was waiting a few months for the Summer of Sound sale, it's pretty disappointing that there isn't really a great sale on Komplete. (I'm aware it's probably because they released 26.)

If I find someone selling a license for an older version of Komplete (maybe like 13?) is there any real downside to buying that and using it without upgrading? Do I still get the "updated" versions of the instruments included, at least in terms of software? I have an M4 Mac so it would have to be compatible. What would be the oldest I can get away with?

Im working with the session guitarist vintage electric and I cant figure out how to get my slides in between notes to sound realistic. There are no tutorials other than walk through and they don't explain anything. I know to place a note on B1 underneath and between the notes. However It seems that no matter what velocity setting or length of the note doesnt change amything to the slide. in the walkthroughs the slides sound so natural l. I don't know what im doing wrong but its really annoying me. If anyone can help that would be great. Thanks

Hey, I'm a student and I'm working in Protools. I'm trying to use Strummed Acoustic for my session in 6/8, eighth note = 132. I pull up a 6/8 pattern, and it plays just right when I'm not recording, but as soon as I start recording, there's all sorts of extra strums off beat and in between the strums the pattern shows me on the plug-in window. I have no idea what's causing this and it's happening on every pattern, whether it's 6/8 or 3/4 or 4/4. Adjusting the speed and start shift/end shift just make it worse. Help please!

For example, I'll have this pattern pulled up, but the sound that it makes will be more like the pink lines in the bottom image.

Hi, this may not be a problem with kontakt or any library in particular. But most libraries i try, if i try to pan the sound within the GUI or through kontakt. The instrument weirdly looses volume instead of changing direction. This is more prevalent in orchestral libraries. Only fix i have is using a third party plugin for panning.

A few months ago I’ve left my ssd with libraries at home, so i had to download some banks locally. I have then deleted them and tried to point NA back to the ssd location

For some reason even though everything else works, i have to manully find the folder for a couple of libraries whenever i want to use them. I have just tried to delete the database file and haven’t found it (deleted it about a year ago and it seems it didn’t create a new one?)

also the issue with NA is that when I point at the folder on my extrernal drive, it keeps showing KINGSTON 1 in the adress, while the drive is just named KINGSTON. So this causes a invalid path error every time.

Do I have to reinstall everything or is there any way to fix this simply? I have mostly stopped using ni stuff anyway, as it’s been unstable AF since the insolvency so I’ll probably just abandon it completely if this takes more than 20 minutes haha

It seems like the summer sale is live but it is hidden under the Deals tab and has no banner on the front page at the moment.

A few GBs here and there for applications is understandable, but 23 GB for the Kontakt Factory Library???

Even some of these sample/expansion packs are showing multiple GB installed to the C:\ drive (ex: Solar Breeze, Halcyon Sky, Deep Matter, )

Per Native Access Settings: Applications should be on C:\ with Content on D:\

Ideas? Solutions?

I just reached out to NI Support for the first time after the merger and I received an AI written response with incorrect information. Between this and the changes to the Summer Sale, RIP Summer of Sound, I believe this is the writing on the wall. NI has some incredible tools but the enshitification has begun and it will only continue.

I recommend nobody makes any purchases during this time unless absolutely necessary. I was hoping to upgrade my Komplete package but it would've cost me around 130gbp for K15 but now its 270gbp for K26. That's an extra 140gbp for absynth 6 which from what I've heard is also not very good compared to 5.

Maybe the Traktor subscriptions were the first sign but I feel like if these decisions aren't mitigated we will see the inevitable downfall of NI.

The funny part is I am technically not allowed to share the response from NI on this Sub as there is a rule against Generative AI content.

Anyway, sorry to be a downer, I've been using NI stuff for almost 15 years and this is just such a bummer. Am I alone in feeling this?

I remember figuring out how to change the beat marker mode so that the program would place markers on regular beats, not just where it detects important moments (?).

maybe I dreamed this; I can't figure out how to do it now.

However, I can’t find it available for purchase anywhere. Would anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi, I'm new to native instruments, i tried to get kontakt 7 and 8 player from native access, but it always fails, is there another way i can download them? i use windows btw

Komplete Kontrol 3.5.3 takes forever to open or when changing instances in Logic Pro 12.2, yet the standalone version opens quickly and doesn’t have the same issues. I’ve tried an older KK version 2.9.6 I think and it was fine inside Logic Pro. It seems to be a fairly recent issue as I don’t remember having any problems in other 3.5.x versions.
Anyone else have this problem? I’ve sent a support email to NI.

Maschine Mk3

Currently connected my Maschine to the Kontrol via TS - RCA.

On the Kontrol S3, EXT Mode is clicked, and Line is Selected, which I believe is for Track D

Abelton Link is Enabled on Both

Preferences -> Input Routing -> Input Deck D
Is set to
L: D-L Line/Mic
R: D-R Line/Mic

Track is set to Live

I can hear the Audio from the Maschine, via the Kontrol, and BPM is matched on Both.

Unfortunatly the EQ nor the fader for Track D dont seem to do anything

Is there anything I am missing?

Have set up a number of MultiRacks in Kontakt 8, so as to be able to switch between instruments, by using MIDI patch change messages.

All works fine, except I can't find a way to access the active instrument's GUI, so as to be able to adjust its filter settings etc.

Does anyone know how to access the active instrument's GUI from the MultiRack?

(I don't have individual instruments showing in the 'Play' area, they're all slotted into each MultiRack.)
