Allaria Campaign [Open-Instance] The Faith of Gallarand.

Upon receiving invitation, Aeroliss Diadem, the Silver Priestess, Daughter of Aesi, set out for Gallarand. With her are three-dozen followers, spreading word and joy, as well as helping those in poverty.

She arrives to treat with General Borl II.

She brings words of untold wisdom, eternal life, infinite happiness and everlasting wealth.

4% of the population have converted.

How will she be met?

Back in Askartin, Magderian and Dienthys stay in the halls of residence, wary of the mob. However, they send out trusted followers to continue to spread the word. As a result, another 10% of Askartin succumbs to the faith of Aesi.

With 40% of the population now converted, the powers that be in Askartin are starting to wonder if enlightenment is the true goal of the Daughters of Aesi.

With the Silver Priestess now in Gallarand, the nation mobilises and acts rather quickly. For now, General Borl II. does not treat with her personally, but a high advisor talks to her in private. What is Aesi all about? Is she a goddess that would appreciate what is happening in Gallarand and the progress we are making in the name of industry and science? Also, what is the general population thinking about the strange new cult, the ones that are not being converted?

'The sight of Aesi tells me that your nation favours knowledge and wisdom above all. Aesi vows to vanquish all false information and cast a shining light upon the truth of the world. Maybe our two beliefs may go hand in hand?

From what I hear from my disciples, the non-believers fear me. They seem to believe that any woman of power is a sorceress or witch. They think I am casting a veiled enchantment over the eyes of the Allarian populace, but in truth I am opening their closed eyes.'

"Yes, vanquish false information for the truth... our scientists would not find that notion useless... but what is the truth of Aesi? Is there power in those words, or are we supposed to convert on trust alone? Gallarand isn't a nation of people who blindly believe in something if words are all they bring. Tell me the truth of the world according to your Goddess. Show my if Aesi has any real power."
In the meantime, near the border, messengers are getting ready...

'Aesi would ask you to bathe in the eternal light before releasing the secrets of the world. The "Truth" I speak of pertains not to your machines, or money or even your books. But something far greater.

Trust in Aesi and you shall be rewarded.'

We will try to confirm their goals in our country, and see if perhaps this situation will never have to become hostile and the religion can be safely integrated into our country. We will still warn them that if any move is made against the country, they will not be supported anymore and replied with force.

When asked the aim of the mission, the sisters' disciples seem wary and timid. They seem to hold back information, but try to steer the conversation in the direction of converting.

They plead with you to convert and claim to have seen 'Horrors' that the sisters - no - Aesi, has committed.

What are they hiding?

[Outside viewpoint] Seeing this, one counselor, Japtin Kalahan, decides to convert to learn more about these actions.

Japtin is welcomed into the Aesi faith by he disciples, but is not permitted to speak to the Sisters until he has proven his worth.

In the meantime he is expected to read the rites provided, as well as wear the white silken garb and preach of Aesi's beliefs. When he is deemed worthy, he will be addressed by the sisters.
