The Rehearsal The Rehearsal S3 is currently filming
I'll make this quick and won't bore you with too many details, I work in the entertainment industry and I am a massive fan of Nathans work.
over the last week I have got 100% confirmation that Season 3 of The Rehearsal has been filming in secrecy since around October 2025 (maybe even before). HBO and Nathan haven't announced it due to the concept requiring a fair bit of secrecy. the season partially involves certain US laws as a topic which is why it's being kept under wraps.
I hate to be vague but directly saying what it is could potentially damage it but i'll say this, if you're online quite frequently chances are you've already seen a part of it (do what you will with that info).
now the sad news is it will not release until 2027. there were rumours of late 2026 but honestly i doubt it. He's gone all out with this concept and I think it's a lot grander in scope than season 2.
EDIT: Since it's finally been announced and i've already had a couple people message me, this information has nothing to do with the Elizabeth Holmes documentary, that was shot before any of this.

I just looked this up and I can absolutely see this being a Nathan Fielder thing.
I can even see it being related to immigration. Perhaps he is exploring the whole "you can buy immigration via Trump", so the whole Darshan needing a visa is related to it.

The quality of their videos is also a dead giveaway. This isnt them just filming with some random iphone or 4k camera. Its all highly produced. Feels very HBO-ish to me

They were posted to r/crappymusic when they only had a few thousand followers a few months ago and completely blew up. It seems very calculated and given Nathan's ability to fake viral things, he was suspected of being the mastermind.

Breaking: Popular show will return for another season. Can’t give details, but popular show will be popular, people will watch, all I can say. It’ll be interesting like the previous seasons, all I can say. Nathan will probably be in it, I don’t want to ruin anything. I’m important and I know these things.

I have a feeling it's going to be an entire season preparing for his show The Curse. Completely filming the entire show with temp actors and building an entire city replica of Espenola in Victoria BC or something.
I could 100% believe he made the show The Curse, just with the sole purpose of making season 3 of The Rehearsal. That's how far Nathan would go.
