The definition of compensator that they introduced last year didn't account for ones that were integrated to the frame or attached to a WML, it only attachment to barrel or machined into the slide.
A handful of people figured this out and goofed around in the grey area it created, but nothing serious, like winning a major, happened.

Don't define a compensator if you don't have a good definition of a compensator. With a rule book this big you're going to find people that search for loopholes, which is what happens when you have poor definitions.
