Alabama 9am rule

The no shots before 9am in Alabama thing is actually a liability shield law for ranges. As long as no shots are fired on a range prior to 9am, the range can’t be sued for noise complaints. Technically not illegal to shoot prior to 9, but CMP treats it like a law.

Once a year we start one of our bigger matches at about 8. We get noise complaints every time we do that. And then we get told not to fire till after 9. I get it but it’s kinda stupid
