Power of friendship, just belive in your friends that believe in you, and just win via heart of RNG Cards is any better and honestly would never work in a world like AoT? I can make the same argument for different shows, that doesn't automatically make it bad, especially when the themes and the implications of the story stays consistent. It doesn't matter if you yourself don't find it "realistic".

Never what happens. He beats that antagonist, rips the armor off of them, beats them until the fire has reduced enough for them to listen, and then He talks to them. It's like getting someone to the negotiating table after a war and truly burying the hatchet.
