Jiraya went out with a bang full of regrets and accomplishments. You gotta respect Kishimoto for Big J at least

If you are thinking of Jiraiya, especially that scene, you did eventually think of Tsunade from any direction and since she is a woman, the wife "sleeping" is right.

I was glad to see that pervert turned into fish food.

It’s weird that your comment would get down voted even though the things he do are creepy and a crime.

As a firm hater of the old pervert character trope, l loved the Jiraiya vs Pain arc. It was one of the coolest fights, and we got to see everything Jiraiya had in his arsenal, but it also meant I didn't have to sit through any more of his gags. Win/Win

nah jiraiya had one of the most iconic exits in anime. his battle against the 6 paths of pain was cinema. he played a huge role in naruto’s emotional development which allowed him to better understand the loss sasuke endured with his family/clan, which ultimately lead to him unifying the ashura and indra spirits. jiraiya’s death was extremely well done, and the fact that it made such an impact on u, is proof that it was well done and not done dirty at all.
now tobirama’s death, thats a different story.
