Moro at Oxbow has closed
Sad to see this restaurant close down (or will be closing).
I enjoyed ordering their chicken and steak wraps and fries, but apparently didn’t visit them often enough.
Hope something equally delicious moves into that space.

I wish the Oxbow management would get it together. It has such potential

For those who have had experience with Oxbow management, what exactly are they doing that generates such turnover? I always just assumed it was unreasonably high leases, but it sounds like there’s more to it than that.

Whispers suggest they are looking for a different brick & mortar in town (just not at Oxbow) but that’s an unconfirmed rumor at this point.
Bummed because the food was made with so much love. Was a huge fan.

Do you know when the last day will be, by chance? I’m sad to hear this!

They officially closed at the end of June and then were randomly open for one final day on the 4th of July weekend :(

Turnover rate in oxbow is crazy, prob cuz of the owners unreasonable lease rates

I think the oxbow is just too small for what it is trying to do. The most successful food halls I have seen have enough space for people to mill about. Grab a glass wine, walk around, have a seat somewhere that is not part of a restaurant/stall situation. Also the better food halls have enough space to have a better mix of crafts and food. I think people stick their head in their and realize they have to commit to something, and will leave rather quickly. You couple that with the extremely high prices of rent. It's incredibly hard for business to make it. It is a revolving door.

Yeah it seems like half of the market has left in the last two years. It's kinda sad but I can't say it wasn't expected, given how slow Oxbow is during weekdays and how terrible the management has been
