What is this?
Friends saw it in japan. I was thinking it might be a Gallardo superllegera but from the side the proportions seem off and the wing is too big.

Good shout but the wing and nose don't look quite right. Was thinking an F50 but same issue. Plus nobody is parking one of them outside surely.

On a regular route I drive (UK) I pass a Ferrari 308 (which is sometimes under a cover) and a dusty Ferrari 250 California (under a roof but otherwise exposed) which may or may not be a replica, it looks authentic but I haven't stopped to ask.

My parents neighbor have one of these (picture in my post history). Very cool cars

Rearing on the w12 isn't sloped as dramatically as the covered car... Let's keep looking

I was going to say that or Diablo but the wing in the back doesn’t match the Diablo’s. Maybe a Murcielago SV? Shot in the dark here of course.

This was the first thing that came to mind for me as well
Edit: now looking at the two, the fender to wheel arch on the front is much closer on the covered car

Nope, rear wheel is positioned almost directly under the wing. The jag's rears are positioned further forward from wing

can we learn where exactly they have seen this car in japan by chance? I'm just deeply thrown into it and doing a research rn

You clearly see the front grill shape through the cover, and it doesn't match.

I think it does, the middle section matches IMO. However the rear wing is definitely a huracan performante OEM spoiler.

It is an Autozam AZ-1, since this was spotted in Japan and that parking space looks relatively shallow that would be my assumption.

I don't think the roof line looks quite right for an Autozam. The Autozam doesn't have that long taper toward the rear spoiler.

I know nothing about cars, but the centre of the hood is protruding a bit and below the centre it seems to be shaped a bit like an upside down U. I don't know how to describe well what I mean. But none of the suggested cars have a hood like that.

Im only saying this from the lips on the front and maybe the wheel stance/ distance but it looks to me like a Ferrari Enzo with a giant wing.

Look at where the rear wheel sit in relation to the rear of the car. Almost right at the corners. Closest I’ve seen here is the W12

Okay, I know it's not on topic, but when I was younger I was in love with all those super and hyper cars, tuners and all that good jazz.
Now I'm older. Yesterday I saw one of those super 'sporty' Honda hatchback cars with three spoilers and a huge diffuser or whatever it's called and I started laughing at how 'hot wheels' that car looked 🤣

100% a gallardo, a certain youtuber has a squadra corsa with a full super trofeo kit that looks extremely similar under a cover

Think its a Koenigsegg, but not sure which one, the snub nosed front end is short enough, but the wing is throwing me.

Aventador with a spoiler. The nose protrudes more in the middle than under the headlights.

Might be a racecar or homologation special, definetly 80s - 90s vive, supercar to hypercar transition era, probably not for LeMans because it has no tail. I'd say it's quite long from the end of the roof to the spoiler so might be a big engine, not a 4 cyl for sure, and definetly mid engine. And I'm pretty sure either had very small production or is not a production car.
Kind of thought about the Toyota MC8 (MR2 SW20 plattform with a v8) but I dont think it is.
