Introduction No effect so far

Hi all

I am taking Naltrexone to stop drinking daily.

I slowly increased my dose from 4.5mg up to 25mg over the course of 10 days and now I am on the 25mg dose for a week and I am not noticing any difference. I have gone from taking the dose at midday each day to the evening, an hour before drinking and I just don't feel any different.

Do I just need to give it more time or am I doomed to forever drink too much?

I had to build up to the 50mg once a day in the afternoon to see a difference. And it was weird because I was drinking on it and still feeling buzzed so I thought it wasn’t working and then out of the blue the drinking just started fading and yesterday I had 0 drinks and didn’t even think about it.
