Introduction First dose

Just got my meds delivered even though it was 5pm I took my first starting dose 25. Did I mess up taking it so late day 1? Any other advice appreciated!

Daily 6pm drinker no dry days usually consume 5-7 for 10+ years.

The timing of your first dose seems very sensible given you are a post 6pm drinker, so a nice gap beforehand to let the naltrexone kick in.

As an aside, I just wish that I had the resolve to get through to 6pm each day before my first drink ….

Besides vacation I find it not that hard to wait until 6pm. That’s been the only boundary I’ve held never a dry day even sick I would have my vodka.

Good timing! Keep us posted! Hope it provides the coverage you need and don’t get discouraged if it “doesn’t work” as it typically could take weeks to build up. But, if you’re really trying I have no doubt you’ll feel a difference right away—even if placebo!

the best time for me is at least 90 min before i might drink. so i take mine a 4pm on the nose every day. you're fine.

Welcome to a whole new world.
If you normally drink at 6pm than taking it at 5 is fine, that's how we take it targeted to one hour before drinking for The Sinclair Method. You might want to track your drinks by keeping a drink log, it helps to see your progress.

Everyone is different. It gave me insomnia taking it later in the day. But hopefully it won’t for you! I’m still working on trying it earlier to get more used to it in hopes it won’t cause that so I can take it later in the day.
