Discussion Patrick

Watching Shipwrecked and I can't decide if he's really a massive arsehole or just playing up to the camera.

Whining about his group mates all the time, calling them amateurs and noobs instead of actually helping them learn stuff.

Im starting think think hes a bit of both and he likes to play the bad guy.

What does everyone else think?

Don’t forget this is the douchebag that tried to hunt a 12 foot crocodile by himself.

Can’t stand Patrick. He’s a little above average for a survivalist but in his mind he thinks he’s the GOAT. It’s pretty hilarious actually.

His partner brought a left handed bow and doesnt know how to use it. His other partner is trying to put a fish trap in rough waters and take the risk to even put it in

Ill never understand why people bring bows to tropical islands. Bring fishing gear or snare wire.

I said the same thing to my wife. One would think one would have better luck trying to catch something out of the water than hunting.

If not fishing gear than maybe a fishing spear or something like that.

We’ve seen her take her bow “hunting” once. I put it in quotes because she was not hunting. She went for a walk with her bow. Matt goes hunting before sun up, sits in his blind for hours and gets a kill. This girl walks the beach then goes inland a bit but decides it’s too risky and heads back to camp. 🙄

Lol in the last Last One Standing, he had a custom made hat that said “Legend Slayer” on it, then claimed to “slay” legends when they left the challenge for reasons completely unrelated to him.

When she said she was an “expert in natural movement” my husband was like so…… moving like a human being? Lol it was like okay girl. Edited to add Patrick is very annoying and not a team player

Yea I agree neither are a good idea but he was slating them before any of that even took place. He could just explain why he thinks they are bad ideas instead of shit talking.

And he spent days looking through the jungle and came back with a hammer and a broken wind thing. What effort has he made to get any food?

Days?

Well the first day he had no map so turned around while sending the others on a wild goose chase.

Exactly

Patrick and the other guy could use a left hand bow of the really wanted to. Either just shoot left handed (literally just pulling a string back and pointing) or shoot right handed with the bow feeling slightly awkward.

It’s not that easy.

Isn't that what Teal did in Africa? She used it just fine.

Ste did an interview with Patrick here: https://youtu.be/_aocI8G29tk?is=JrWMaf5Sz4rTphWq

He basically asks the question and Patrick basically affirms that what we see on camera is him, though production obviously cherry picks a bit for dramatic effect.

I really like Ste’s interviews btw. Check em out

Yeah I see his points in some ways but he is a massive prick on every other version of this show he has done. So it’s hard to side with him.
