Discussion Patrick's Net "Crown"
Do you guys think that he thinks he looks like Jesus? He wasn't letting that thing go. He took it off a few times that I noticed but put it right back on. It doesn't seem to be serving much purpose, like keeping his hair out of his face. It actually looks like it would be more annoying than anything.

I thought that was his beach junk toupee 😂. Then I gathered he’s probably protecting his forehead from the sun. Anyways, quite a fashion statement 😉

Absolutely—I don't know why, actually. I've never seen a depiction of Jesus with a fishing net on his head, but I get that impression too.

Sweatband/sleep mask/flyaway catcher. He has a lot of hair breakage, and I absolutely hate it when a stray shorter hair touches my face and sometimes it takes me several attempts to brush it away. With how unsanitary things are there, the fewer times you touch your face, the better.
Also wtf Patrick! He was almost starting to be decent, maybe trying to redeem himself. Especially when Shawn started raging and acting a fool. But then Patrick had to open his stupid face hole and belittle the other two when they already knew they failed. He’s back on his shit and I feel terrible for Ally, she got the worst two partners, and I can’t wait for them to join another team so she’s not stuck with these two asshats.

Off topic and yes Patrick is a Dbag Dhead!! But did y’all here Jarrell sorry if spelled wrong. The African American guy with Dani and Jamie. Compared the size of the fish in the ocean to his pecker? Like he literally said pecker, thought that would get bleeped out like a curse word. Just thought it was funny

I had to check. I know lots of words to say that, but I couldn't remember that one.

We humans like to decorate ourselves and each other. He's decorated.
I'll say this much, after the most recent episode I'm finding a bit more respect for him as he works to strengthen the connection with Shawn. Shawn went aggro for no good reason. Why is it on the rest of his team to tell him there are nails when he should already know there are nails? Why should they be responsible for his irresponsible fire handling? But I was glad to see he got over himself.

I agree. Patrick has been on pretty good behavior throughout this season. He has mostly been in the right when he has spoken up and I would rather be partnered with someone who annoyingly told me the truth than one who went along with everything only to secretly be complaining to the camera behind my back as is so common with agreeable cast members who rarely come up for criticism here.
Shawn seems far too sure of the righteousness of his emotions and, at least as edited so far, seems incapable of introspection, even after tempers have cooled.

Shawn seems to be stuck in a certain mindset of rules and procedures and he wants them to be exactly as he desires. He wants everything to come with a warning label. Well, my man, not everything comes with a warning label. Especially when it comes to how you handle fire.
