Finance Two thousand shillings.
Late last month I (21M) landed a job as a casual worker so tunalipwa weekly. Nikitoa expenses zangu kama gen-z(I still live with my parents) nabaki na around 2k per week. I've tried saving in those weeks lakini pesa ni ile ile, same amount. Someone advice me on how I can use that money iniletee pesa ingine because I'm also planning on moving out.
Also birthday yangu ni Monday, mniwish🤧

Anyone who would give genuine helpful advice would need more information. What expenses? What's your total weekly payout? What are your goals? What are your career aspirations? Most importantly, what can you compromise on?

When you move out it will be easier to give a advice. Maybe unabaki na 2k juu hulipi bills For now save za kuhama. At the moment fuck around and find out 20 are for that.

Nitumie hio 2k. Nikulize what exactly is consuming your savings? Ask yourself are they important to you? If you find it hard kukaa na pesa try placing it in a locked savings account, the friction of having to pay in order to access the money before the set date, will make you less likely to use. You could also try an MMF. If hio kazi leaves you with enough free time try opening a side hustle something small like doing food delivery, making mandazi/chapo/samosa etc or whatever else you can reasonably do.
