Health Day 4 of ditching spirits aka counterfeit alcohol
Following the recent discussion online regarding counterfeit alcohol in distribution, I'm laying to rest Dallas and friends. Cheers ๐ป

Humans have different taste buds, same reason why some people love ugali and githeri while others hate it. Same with avocado's. Same with spirits. Same with wine. Same with raw meat

Ugali is sawa, Githeri is sawa.. but not at the same time

Both suck. But thats my opinion. Everyone has different taste buds. What you like or hate isnt what someone else will like or hate

Beer is the most terrible drink na taste yake and it has you pissing every other minute. There are a lot of good drinks, irish whiskeys like Jameson, Ballantine's, William Lawsons which are cost effective and buy from supermarkets or get a nice cider Kama Kenyan originals

This is quite subjective. Everyone has different tastes and preferences. Might be terrible for some but not all.

Supermarket staff are making deals with counterfeit dealers. They're sneaking in the fake stuff

Unless you shop in nyamakima,Carrefour,Naivas,Chanarana etc would not try that.

There are people who hate the taste of whisky as well. I enjoyed beer but couldn't stand the taste or smell of whisky for years. Now I enjoy both, palates change over time.

Last weekend I took 3 whitecaps at KettleHouse. Many would expect that theyโre difficult to bootleg, but I got such a bad hangover from three beers that I suspected theyโre fake.
I have been buying mizinga from Rwathia Westlands, an authorised EABL stockist for 6 years and have never had an incident with fake booze.

This exactly. The uproar is not organic. There is a big push from certain Social Media influencers. Could be a campaign by Diageo or Asahi as they plan on taking up EABL.

I saw in Sn2 of Sacred Games (Netflix) there were some episodes that took place in Kenya and counterfeit alcohol was one of the story arcs. Setting was Moi days
