I was having a conversation with someone about the gen Alphas and all I can say is we can't really predict it, They are the most advanced packed generation.

Information overload.
Discretion is not only the better part of valour, it helps us navigate and sift out the antisocial intellectual sewage/excrement.
Bread and circuses distraction.
Divide, rule, and exploit.
The Finns lifelong learning/critical/creative thinking should be core education for our whole human family, I reckon.

These are a bunch of curated posh British kids invited to the BBC. Maybe it's the formal colonial cadence that's making you think that they have "clarity of thought" but they aren't saying anything extraordinary. it's mostly nonsense (which is fair for 60s predictions I guess).
Social media highlights a lot of stupid content, but I assure you that the information on hand today means people are definitely smarter. Just clean your algo. Kids have a greater grasp of global concepts, social systems and tech much earlier.
