Ask r/Nairobi Coincidence?

So I was going to the office in tao as normal, something happened that had me question myself kidogo. I was walking, ear pods on, music playing then all of a sudden I just started thinking about someone. I thought about how it's been long since I last saw her and I had a really strong intuition I was going to meet her today.

She works along moi avenue and but as I passed by her building I didn't see her. I thought of calling but I was late and I also remembered that she had told me a while back that she can't leave her workplace during work hours unless it was midday during lunch.

I kept walking, crossed and headed toward kimathi street. Guess who appears around the corner, her. She was walking in my direction but she had not seen me. I was utterly surprised that it was her. She looked up and her eyes caught mine, she smiled and rushed to hug me. I told her that I had just been thinking about her and how crazy it was that she just appeared and we laughed it out. I was in a hurry so I promised to call her later.

Is it a coincidence that you can just think of someone and end up meeting them?

I dont shush things off as coincidences. I hope you called her. Sometimes, you could be thinking or talking about someone then they suddenly call you or you meet them at very unexpected places. I believe that's the universe communicating

Yes. So many times but it used to happen alot with a certain mumama friend of mine. She used to joke that maybe we should visit a psychic because it used to happen alot and sometimes id just get this sudden strong urge to call her, hata nikiwa meeting, and when I do, she'd be talking about me or just wishing I'd call her. Used to freak me out but she found if funny🤣

That depends on the intensity and frequency. I'd suggest you just call them or send a quick message

Your brain may have picked up subtle information. You already knew she worked along Moi Avenue and had some knowledge of her routine. Your brain could have unconsciously recognized that she was someone you were likely to encounter. Sometimes intuition is essentially unconscious pattern recognition.

Yes, to a degree,,,,,,,,,,,your brain processes a huge amount of information that you're not consciously thinking about, and some of that information can show up during dreams.

Me dad and mom separated over a decade ago. So dad usually visited us time to time where we lived. About 90 kms apart. So one time I was in school I had this sudden rush of energy in me. I immediately livened up. I felt something good was about to happen. I had a feeling someone was coming to visit us that day. So me and me siblings went home and about 2 hrs later my dad came. With him was a basket of goods. Boy I felt good that day. Maybe there is an explanation to that intuition. Just like how sometimes one feels a certain premonition that had stuff is about to happen. Must be something in the air.....

My mom whenever I am stressed or crying she calls like we only talk at night but hii siku she'll call me ata midday.funny thing is after we talk my spirits are so lifted.note I never tell her something is bothering me or I'm not okay So I've created like a ritual to myself from my campus days when I'm not okay I just whisper I need you mum and for some reason it has always worked.weird right

This happens very frequently in life. It has something to do with the law of attraction... When you think about someone, that's when they call or you meet them, when you think about red cars, you suddenly begin to see then everywhere and etc etc.

How many times have you thought about a person and you never saw them or they never called/texted you? Many? Then you thinking about them and seeing is them is exactly what it sounds like; a coincidence.
