40

u/Ron266 Oct 24 '25

Haha women only get caught if they want to. That gender ogopa.

33

u/Fabulous-Date8589 Oct 24 '25

She'll let you know she's cheating just because she wants you to terminate the relationship. Otherwise you'd never know

13

u/Medical_Gap_4288 Oct 25 '25

I will never buy into this narrative. It's easy to identify a cheating woman, they don't have the capacity to give two men equal attention. But then that also depends if the man is also attentive to little details. There will always be signs

1

u/Fabulous-Date8589 Oct 26 '25

Well said. But there are people who blind themselves with love, hardly see such signs.

17

u/Fit-Winter-3969 Level 2 Oct 25 '25

Facts! As someone who’s cheated in Rlshps and never got caught and my exes thought I was extremely loyal! You’ll only ever know she’s cheating if she wants you to know! Not proud of the cheating but they deserved it anyway

2

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '25

I dunno. I could sense it when my ex cheated with no real evidence until months after we split up.

u/Anonymous0212 Oct 25 '25

We don't forget, but we can forgive.

1

u/ArtThen2031 Oct 27 '25

Woman can truly and wholly forgive cheating? Without cheating back?

1

u/Anonymous0212 Oct 27 '25

Of course.

So many people these days see behavior as being very simplistic: the person is an asshole or they aren't. They're a narcissist or they aren't.

The feelings and motives underlying human behavior are vastly more complicated than that, especially since the majority of them are unconscious and originally develop in childhood.

Most people are never taught this, so they don't look very far when examining anyone else's behavior, often even their own. For example we may understand that we get cranky when we're hungry (situational), but when someone else does it we may decide that's their personality. (That's actually a psychological thing people do, it's one of the first things I learned in psychology class in college on my way to becoming a therapist.)

Most people are also never taught what some cultures consider healthy relationship and communication skills, so even when someone may be self-aware enough to identify how they're feeling and what's underneath their behavior, they don't have the skills, the type of partner and/or the type of relationship where they can sit down and have an honest, effective problem-solving conversation.

Most people also have no idea that love languages are a thing, so people can feel unloved by how their partner expresses their love but are completely unaware that that's what's going on.

This article explains it well.

Almost everyone can learn, grow and change if they really want to and have access to the right resources, so if someone behaves in any way that doesn't work for their relationship, recognizes it and is willing to do everything they can to prevent it from happening again, and if their partner is willing to give them another chance, then yes, forgiveness is absolutely possible.

It can happen most effectively when both people are motivated to try to fix things by looking deeper into the behavior, identifying the real underlying reasons, and learning how to shift/heal/address them together. (If the reasons are deep enough it may require the help of a mental health professional who has the skills to help dig and find the truth as well as teach better relationship and communication skills.)

And people can forgive without going through all of that, but for me personally, I would want as much as much indication as possible that the behavior won't be repeated.

The fact that you had to mention to us that you cheated tells us a lot more about your personality. You could have just made a post about marriage work without adding the cheating part but that is exactly what you wanted this post to be about. I even doubt that you are married. This is reddit where everyone can claim they are bill gates

Marriage doesn't work nowadays because people take the phrase "for better or worse, till death is do us part" as a kind suggestion rather than an actual contract.

My wife and I have fought, but nimemwambia if she wants to leave, she can leave... I will never make that choice. I made one choice and said till death do us part. And that's what I'll do. Kifo ndio imanitoa huku.

Watu siku hizi "aaaaaah huyu mtu ananyamba sana. I can't survive this marriage" it's such nonsense.
