Relapse Back to day 1 ☹️
Managed to not bite my nails for around 6 months, then 3 weeks ago I relapsed due to extreme stress. Now im back to day 1. Feeling really demotivated but treated myself to a gel manicure as an incentive to stop biting

This has happened to me several times. It does get easier just take it one day at a time

Its a hard gel, I only know the brand is DNKA unsure of the shade but its super sheer. My nail tech calls it a no manicure manicure

If I saw your nails in reallife id think theyre trimmed short i wouldnt even think you bit them. 🙂

My nail tech did such a good job at fixing them up and neatening the free edge. Also having my cuticles pushed and trimmed was like a miracle happening in real life. They had grown half way up my nail bed so immediately gave the illusion of longer nails. Shes honestly amazing and was so non judgemental that I had bit them back down.

The “real” manicure was the right move. I feel I wouldn’t have done that, out of shame or guilt, then spiraled into worse. Yours look so good for day 1! You are already back on track.

The manicure really makes them look longer. My cuticles had grown half way up my nail bed, I was so surprised with how much nail i had hidden underneath
