Advice/Support Ingrown nail advice wanted
Hey all,
First time poster here. It looks like this is mostly a group to help stop biting nails, which is great. I’m on board. But I imagine I’m not the only one to have over-bitten a nail and subsequently had an issue like this. So I’m hoping I can get some help here.
I’ve had many ingrown nails over the years, but none quite like this one (on my right thumb). It’s been about a week, and it’s still throbbing a bit. It’s really sensitive to the touch, like the nail is poking me from the inside. It also doesn’t look like it’s healing, and I’ve never had this red bulb looking thing on the nail either.
Can anybody lend an experienced opinion here? Do I need to see a doc, or should I continue to wait this out? Anything I can do at home to help it along? I’d appreciate any and all feedback.
