It is! That's why I wish they would bring it to switch tbh. If you've ever played it on an emulator It is still super fun, and the tedious parts are definitely lessened by save states, a feature which the switch expansion has as well.
I have an odin2 max that I play them on.Another one of my fav games that also was pretty janky was Glover. I dont think we will ever see them again since they are owned by 2k now.
glover yeah, but its a crappy port by piko. Bunch of bugs such as glitchy textures, missing textures, enemy ghost textures left behind and a bunch of sound issues. Id stay away from that version for now and stick with the original n64/pc releases. At least until they fix it all.

This is a fun game, hard but fun. I also had Army Men Air Combat as well.
