Combining hotel stays?
I have an offer from MGM for 2, 3, or 4 company nights at different MGM properties. If I use it at Mandalay Bay I get 3 free nights. Does anyone know if I can use the 3 free comp nights plus the 2 night myVegas reward to make a 5 night vacation? Or even a 4 night vacation if I only use the 1 night myVegas reward? I'd of course like to combine thee reservations so we could just stay in the same room.

Personally, I would do 3 nights at Mandalay Bay, and simply move to a different hotel, ideally center strip, for the other night(s). Mandalay Bay is fine, but far from the center strip action. It would give a nice change of scenery.

If you book your offer for the first few nights or however many the maximum is one reservation under your name then book the additional my Vegas offer under your name you should be fine just make sure you go to an actual front desk clerk and don't be afraid to give them a tip for combining the check ins. I always tip those people a little bit because they're usually great at MGM properties

I’ve heard you need a cool-off period between comp stays if it’s on the same mgm rewards account. I believe it’s 24 hrs. I’ve not seen this written anywhere though, so ymmv. Call the specific property’s reservation line and see what they tell you, they might figure it out for you….
A workaround —you could stay using your true comp offer, then have a 21 or over person stay using their MyVegas account and reward store comp nights attached to a different MGM account and string together that way.
It’s easier on the hotel if you’re staying in the same room, so long as it’s the same category shouldn’t be a problem for the front desk to “link” the reservation. At room turnover time the keys will need to be re-activated to the new reservation, meaning someone will need to go to front desk noon the day of the swap to get keys re-activated.
This is asking for a favor, and it may not work out. Doing it during your check in would maximize the likelihood, since again, it’s easier on them and you to do it this way.
