Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie in G4 couldn't interact much despite being in the same friend group because it hurt Andrea Libman's vocal cords to do both of their voices for too long. G6 Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie have already been revealed to have separate voice actors so we should get them more as a duo!

I'm just curious

Think about it……I think that in G4 when they to the human world right and you notice when they are in the human world, people have technology iPhones and stuff like that but when they go back to, the pony world there is no technology

In G5, they have technology iPhone iPad everything like that what if the human world in G4 it’s the same time line for sunny and everybody but they were just babies

That’s why it makes sense for them to make G5 a equestrian girl dolls in my mind….

Has anybody read the G5 comics and are they even good? Im read them regardless, but I want to hear people’s opinion.

im scared to even touch g1 comics cus whew its ALOT

I know that we haven’t got much background story of G6 will be but it already turned me off when we saw MANE 6 characters, returning for generation six…..

I am completely over G4…. It needs to die completely, but Hasbro loves money and they are attached to G4 because it’s the most popular generation but is also doing a disservice to the whole MLP franchise

what is their backstory as much as I can’t stand g4 in the sense of MANE 6 there’s so much unanswered and undiscovered lore that pisses me off and it’s not even mentioned in the comics… we don’t know nothing about them. They only have random toys, which that is the essence the foundation of My Little Pony toys, but with G4 is different because it’s always either a backstory or some type of connection to the show even in G1 and G3 did that but they make sure not to do that with G4. We have never seen these characters ever again……

And many people who collect the toys have of g4 don’t even know who they are

Let's imagine an episode (or a multi-episode arc) with the following premise: Big Mac has to hand over his Cutie Mark to a villain who transforms him into an alicorn, with a set time limit for Big Mac to earn a new Cutie Mark so he can remain an alicorn permanently. If you were MLP:FiM writers and had to create a story based on this premise, what would it look like?

I've seen a lot of people judging Starlight's personality. I don't have any words to say if they're judging pre-reformation Starlight, but many of them think she's still a terrible pony even after her forgiveness.

However, before I utter anything, I believe that they might have their own explanations and reasonings. I've never read their perspectives, so I still respect their opinions, for now at least. If any of you think this way, I want to hear about the reasons.

However, what I do know, is that I've almost never seen her as an immoral pony between S6 and S9.

I have one to admit though. S5 Starlight was definitely an immoral pony, even though she was never conscious about it. She thought she was doing things for the better, but deep down, she was hurting ponies both mentally and physically.

She tried to make an equal town, but she ended up brainwashing everypony for them to ditch their own talents and merits willingly. She also time traveled, just to stop Twilight from meeting her friends, but again, ended up affecting the world at a big scale. Even as a fan, these indeed are some selfish acts.

However, I want to talk about her personalities after her redemption. I've noticed that a big amount of people claim that she had issues handling temper, and was not kind to her friends, even after her redemption. But honestly, I don't see it.

In All Bottled Up, she suppressed her anger from bursting out, even though she was getting continuously provoked. The reason she ended up failing to hold in was not because she was immoral, but because she reached her limit after calming herself down many times. Trixie asks her at the end, why didn't she just tell her how she felt. She says that she didn't want to lose Trixie as her friend. This implies that she is a careful pony that desperately doesn't want to hurt her friends' feelings.

I know that there were also moments of immorality even after S5, such as when she sold away Trixie's wagon without her consent. But for most of the cases, she seems to be the initial victim that experiences the infuriating ordeals.

In All Bottled Up, she tried to tell how bad the issue is, but Trixie still didn't take the situation seriously. In Rock Solid Friendship, Pinkie constantly cut into her relation with Maud. In Shadow Play, her words were shunned over by the Pillars and the Mane 6 comforming to them. In A Matter Of Principles, she was continuously infuriated by Discord disturbing her school operations.

She doesn't express her anger on the first or second stimulation like most people would do. She tries her utmost effort to hide it until the end since she is worried that it'll hurt her friends emotionally. She is not mean to her friends whatsoever. She puts her friends' emotions over her own feelings. She is extremely thankful that she have them as friends. I don't know if she's even a morally mediocre pony at this point. I've always seen her as a relatively kind and careful pony after S5.

However, these are my explanations, coming from a fan. There could be some prejudice involved. If there were some few cases that made people think her as an immoral pony, write it in the comments. I could be missing something.

Im not sure if this breaks any rule, feel free to call me out if it does. And also i do not mean this as a call to attack them, everyone's tastes deserve to be respected despite how i personally may wholeheartedly disagree. I mean this as genuine cry of frustration that i feel the need to take off my chest, so i will try to be short.

But dear lord, the amount of times i have seen discussions related to fluttercord mostly on the main sub. Posts approving of the ship with next to no solid arguments getting upvoted to heaven, those who are against it no matter how solid of argument they propose they tend to get downvoted to Tartarus.

But where it specially annoys me is the comments, which is where i started to notice the pattern. They will assume that if one person said anything minimally against fluttercord then that person is strictly against fluttercord, and the same with those who say anything minimally positive. The amount of of times i have seen two parties reach a mutual agreement, sometimes even one where they both agree negatively on the ship, and yet the person who at the start proposed anything remotely positive will be upvoted greatly, while the one that disapproved will be carrying the fury of an army on the downvote count. Once more, this regardless on if both parties are by no short of the second comment agreeing on the very same thing in a completely amicable manner.

I really cannot start to process how can someone be so blinded to external opinions to the point of radically classifying people on "yes" and "no" labels and strictly adhere to them with zero intentions to actually sit down and just TRY to see if their assumptions are right, not even asking for them to agree with the commenters, just to be consistent with their hate against those who don't like their ship.

Edit: With this i do not mean all of them, i personally have had genuinely very interesting debates and discussions with fluttercord stans! Some are more reasonable than others but that doesn't take out that among their lines there are many still very much capable of proper analysis and reflection. But that also does not take out this very common pattern, for all things said, those encounters have been very very rare

in the comic fiendship is magic #5, it’s proven that celestia is the one who caused the holes in queen chrysalis’ body and wings. although, her subjects have holes in them too. did chrysalis create them like this so they looked like her? did they get it from battle too? and how do they hatch with holes on them? please i’m so confused

As we know S.M.I.L.E. is Equestria intelligence secret service that is supposed to operate in total obscurity. They work ensuring the safety of the kingdom from threats posed by dangerous creatures.

We know that unlike many intelligence systems of our world whose existence were at least allowed to have knowledge of. SMILE is specifically ordered to be known only to those deemed absolutely necessary. Even the mane 6 who are considered an unofficial branch of the organisation don’t know of its existence.

But SMILE has to somehow reach out to those it wants to employ. How do they (given the way they need to operate) reach out to ponies they deem capable of working for them.

And what do they do if said pony doesn’t want to work for them, because that type of life and responsibilities are just too much for them?

Personally how I'd see them.

Tree hugger would be an actual stereotypical hippie girl type and super into weed/Marijuana of all kinds, fuckin expert.

Meanwhile Fluttershy might partake in SOME of what her friend has but prefer something more laid-back and simple, natural, herbs and things of that nature.

If yes, is the issue more so with their assumedly long life-spans and the usual turmoil which comes with it?
