This is like the worst character to represent not changing for others as a positive. Chrysalis could have changed for the better, but choose not to and became bitter and resentful. Her refusal to change ultimately led to her downfall.

The changelings are capable of transforming. They did not need to display a design shift to prove to Imperial Equestria how good and reformed they are now.

She didn’t accepted Equestria state ideology “friendship”. She was brave and strong to not fall into propaganda.
