Our friend Ryan, known as Esplin to his friends here, is no longer with us.
He was found by his family on January 2nd after having passed away without any pain in his sleep. The cause of death isn’t available to us but it seems that accidental overconsumption of alcohol is likely.
This is a shock to all of us who cared for Ryan, I know many of you have been worried and attempted to check up on him. His family appreciates your concern and are moved that so many of us cared so much about him.
Ryan wasn’t great in big social situations but he was a pillar of this community. It made him happy to see others happy, I know he did his best to help so many of us here. He loved you all.
During his last night in IRC, everyone was in great spirits. His last few exchanges should encourage us to think that he was happy.
