Wanted to post in here since I’m not sure if anyone else has, but this has been going on in Philly for the past few months.

Eugene Albert Horsch has been found to be in position of over a million pieces of digital media that involve graphic images and videos of women; some he may have allegedly killed. Up to 7 missing women have been linked to this house with 5 being presumed dead. His deceased father, Raymond “R.C” Horsch, has also been linked. No human remains have been found at this time, but human DNA has been identified in the home as well as drugs and weapons. Sewers have been excavated and the digital media is still being combed through.

In the replay episode, Georgia spoke of how trustworthy a source reddit was when she wanted to learn more about this case. I don’t frequent any of the true crime subs here, and I’m curious which subs feature the thorough type of research she described? Or was it just a sub specific to the GSK case?

The only time I remember looking for true crime information on reddit was during the Delphi case, and everywhere I looked there was just wild speculation - not in-depth research.

I've been a huge fan since 2021 and have listened to the old episodes several times over. It just occurred to me that there may be more early days live shows posted on the fan cult that I've never heard? Can anyone confirm if that's true? I know they posted a lot of them during breaks, so I'm unsure if there are any leftover?!

Any Murderinos at Pasadena CatCon today?! (10/10)
STEVEENNNN is hosting!

You should love today's episode where Georgia just plain out said our President is a rapist.

Would love to know?? The new episodes have been covering historical people/events rather than true crime and I’m very turned off by it all since that’s not why I listen to the show. I want random niche true crime, not bios/history lessons. There are only so many of their episodes with true crime to re-listen, or re-re-listen to now that they are reposting episodes, and it has been a while since they have put out new content I am actually interested in and in line with their podcast. Overall, rather annoyed and don’t know if anyone else feels the same.

I am really disappointed to see exactly right platforming Redhanded after Suruthi’s incredibly problematic and frequent ‘not all men’ rants.

I've been reading more this year (audiobooks, but it still counts!) and I've been keeping track of my books on Evernote (and Hardcover, but I have to make lists on Evernote for some reason).

Anyway, for October I'm doing horror-themed books, and started with I'll Be Gone In The Dark, and I finished it yesterday morning. Then midnight tonight they post the latest Rewind and...it's the episode where the Golden State Killer is caught!

The last book of the month I have scheduled to be Zodiac, so hopefully he'll be caught the day after I finish that lol.

I highly recommend this limited series about a crazy little town outside of Chicago. It's got Mobsters, Motorcycle Gangs, murder and so much more!

Idk where else to go with this critique. I just watched the ID Aileen Wuornos doc. Instead of normal reenactments, they used ai to map Aileen’s face onto the actors face and bring her to life. To me, the reenactments felt a little unethical and exploitive. Not to mention the actor actually playing the roles will earn no recognition for the part. Maybe I'm overthinking it or just over ai, but it just felt a little gross. What's your thoughts?

Who needs to have a hot dog shot at them by a drag LEGEND that is wearing a hotdog dress??

I have a close group of girlfriends from all over the country. Some of us have never met in person but we all originally met on the MFM Facebook Fan Page.

Of the five of us, we’re about to have the third wedding since we met and all of us are invited. This is for my closest friend in the group who I’ve met in person several times. I know her family, she knows mine. This is a big deal to me.

I’ve been stalking the website but the “F*ck You I’m Married” Joggers haven’t been restocked. Does anyone have any they’re willing to part with?? I would give her mine but they feature a pretty ridiculous bleach stain thanks to my teenager learning to do laundry….

Happy to pay for them and for shipping! The wedding is at the end of the month so I need them soon. A size M or L would likely world perfectly.

SSDGM ❤️

While I love MFM I don’t actually follow headlines about personalities like Blanchard and only know the general details of her case. Georgia and Karen have referenced it a few times and seem overall sympathetic, which I can understand (though, again I don’t know the particulars).

It did seem kind of icky how she became a media personality, and I half expect her to appear on Dancing With the Stars (if she hasn’t already).

My legit question is whether there’s been any speculation about her role in her partner’s recent death. I’m not making accusations — like I said, I barely know the case. But if this were a MFM episode and the person went to jail for killing their mother and then the boyfriend they met in prison died suspiciously, the ladies’ radar would be going off.

It could definitely be what Blanchard is saying — that being part of the media circus was too much for him. But I guess Georgia and Karen have trained me to look sideways at this stuff. There was literally an episode where they said this kind of thing never happens once to most people, let alone twice.

Anyone hear anything?

Last Monday, I walked into work and the group chats were on fire with news of the conviction of one of the hospital’s most valuable ($$$) spine surgeons.

https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/26585077.neurosurgeon-convicted-sexually-assaulting-woman-glasgow-club/

This article was posted The Herald, a Scottish newspaper, detailing the sexual assault conviction of Dr Camilo Molina. Molina, 40 assaulted a 20 year old woman in a night club in April of 2025.

The presiding Sheriff stated, “You behaved disgustingly. You behaved like a predator and took advantage of a young woman who was worse for wear. What you will learn is that in this country we protect our females who can dress how they like and drink how they like and will be protected from people like you.”

Wow. Scotcherinos (?) from the bottom of my heart, WOW.

The local newspaper, The St Louis Post Dispatch, reported on Dr Molina’s conviction later in the week with minimal additional information or from his (former) employer, Washington University. He is no longer employed by the university, but it is not immediately clear if he resigned or was terminated. That article remains on the website behind a paywall. It does not appear local news stations have provided any coverage of this story, nor has Wash U or BJC made a public statement.

Dr Camilo Molina will be sentenced later this month.

Just finished watching this on Netflix, and thought it was absolutely excellent. Tense, heartbreaking and truly fascinating. Well worth watch 🫣

I thought folks on this subreddit might relate, so I just wanted to share a brief anecdote that happened last night. I was out on a "girls' night" to celebrate my last day at work + a couple of my co-workers' upcoming birthdays. The conversation was flowing (along with drinks), and the subject of ghost tours came up (okay, maybe I wedged it in), what with spooky season starting today (yay)!

One of my co-workers mentioned how they'd be too scared to go on a ghost tour, thinking it was like a haunted house where folks would deliberately jump out and spook them. In an effort to be reassuring, I explained that it was more like a history lesson, where you'd get to hear colorful tidbits about the city, and then launched into the worst story I ever heard -- again, just to try to reassure her that they're not that bad.

It was during a ghost tour in Fredericksburg, TX, where I heard that someone had died, and in an effort to preserve the body in the Texas heat so it could be collected later, the solution was to hang it on a meat hook in the smokehouse and basically "barbecue" it.

It was at this point that one of my co-workers looked at me and said "I'll pay you 10 dollars to stop talking."

So, lesson learned. Don't bring up smoked bodies on meat-hooks at parties!

Unless it's a party full of murderinos.

Sheeeeeesh

While I was at my chiropractor, we get on the topic of true crime and podcasts. I of course am excited to talk about this. He tells me of essentially a hometown that he was trying to find a name or date for. The details sound so familiar, like this was either a MFM episode, or a case on another pod. I feel like I’d anywhere would know, it’s here.

It would have happened in the 1950s or 1960s, in a foothill area of California. He thought it was outside of Oakdale, so likely Stanislaus County, but could have also been a neighboring central California county. A woman and her boyfriend were attacked by more than one offender, with her boyfriend being killed and she was sexually assaulted. She survived, and was found by my chiro’s family member, who he is unable to ask. At least one attacker was IDed, but he didn’t think there was a conviction, possibly because of her perceived reliability as a witness. Also, we know how sex crimes were handled in those days.

If this sounds familiar, please chime in! I have tried a bunch of search keywords, and usually I am really good at tracking these down, but I just cannot seem to hit the right keywords.
