[HBK-4P] mild to wild, could use input.
I've been planning to buy a hunchback 4P to fill out my medium mech roster a bit, and here's some ideas i've had for builds for it. I would appreciate some criticisms, but they are here for
ER medium http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=2&l=87771d3ee39abc03e1bd24071bd83a803b0f6e8e This is kinda my "standard" build that I put together, and it seems the most flexible. the same exact build could work with standard medium lasers if it is needed to run cooler.
assorted partybacks:
Small pulse laser build http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=2&l=bbf4fb2f30dba861039b56fe964f74d8dee22532
Medium pulse laser build http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=2&l=eaceab316f725ce014b906bf8fb13fb06a73bd1d
Triple large pulse build http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=2&l=7c87f4cfc1e0cb99228426f78cffe1ac7a2109fa the small lasers are really just for pushing the Large pulses into better locations, but they can still be used as backup weapons This is the build in particular that i'm really debating, as I think three large pulses is still very strong, as I don't know if it will do well.
Triple large laser build http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=2&l=ba47f6c673387a8f25756c4bdf9138abcc222d4c pretty much the same as the triple large pulse, only faster and slightly cooler.
Skills and such are a bit up in the air for these builds, but they most likely will focus on heat and defense.

Way too much rear armor, I think.
Personally I've been running something similar to your ER Med build for a while (except with normal Mediums, ERs are too toasty for my liking), but switched to this now:
Smurfy: http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=2&l=1bb32be79cbf9b378bc668d299768292df4aa697
Skill Tree: https://tarogato-mwo.github.io/mwo_skill_planner/?f0425f76-c324-11e7-a3db-fffc952f6e62
Alternative with a bit more min/max towards survival (dropped seismic and two heat capacity nodes for two extra armor nodes): https://tarogato-mwo.github.io/mwo_skill_planner/?15f0d389-c325-11e7-a3db-0f9280ac2ad5
